During the Kaal Bhairav Rog Mukti Pooja, devotees gather in temples or conduct the ceremony at home under the guidance of a priest. The ritual typically involves chanting of Vedic hymns, offering of flowers, fruits, and other sacred items to Lord Kaal Bhairav, and performing specific mudras (hand gestures) and rituals as prescribed in ancient scriptures.

The primary objective of this pooja is to seek blessings from Lord Kaal Bhairav for good health, longevity, and protection from illnesses. It is believed that by performing this ritual with sincerity and devotion, one can alleviate the suffering caused by diseases and attain physical and mental well-being.
